Analyzis of Lottery, Gambling and Betting in Czech Legal and Fiscal Context

This bachelor thesis comprises an analytical as well as a theoretical part and is completed with suggestions for improvement of existing arrangement. In its theoretical part it is focused on Czech private and public treatment of gambling. In its analytical part evaluation and description of a current financial regulation of gambling sector is described.
Forms of risky behavior and their prevention

The title "Forms of risky behaviour and their prevention" predicates the focus of the thesis. The theoretical part is divided into three chapters. The first chapter characterizes risky behaviour and outlines its forms. The second chapter deals with the phenomenon of bullying. It describes its characters, types and forms, defines the types of progression and shows what to do when somebody investigates bullying. The third chapter is devoted to prevention. It gives basic information about effective prevention, legislation and institutions dealing with the primary prevention. Further it mentions the function of School Methodist of Prevention and Minimum Preventive Program. The empiric part provides a set of methodical and working sheets focusing on the education of harmonious social relationships. The activities included in these sheets are a part of a program for pupils, which can be one variation of bullying prevention. Addiction Issues of High School Students

The bachelor thesis deals with the substance abuse problematics (addiction on legal and illegal substances) and so-called non-substance, also known as behavioural addictions (gambling addiction, computer addiction, internet addiction) which concern high school pupils. The theoretical part of the bachelor thesis is dedicated to general characteristics of addiction and it also describes how the addiction begins and progresses. The practical part is based on a survey which was distributed on high schools. The aim of this thesis is to find out personal experience of substance abuse among pupils attending high school and to determine the time spent on the computer, internet and mobile device.
Gambling and its Impact on Social Lives of Compulsive Gamblers

This bachelor thesis deals with the issue of social impacts of gambling on the gambler's lifestyle. The target of this work is to describe the basic aspects of person´s life who suffers from addiction to gambling; to determine how and which areas gambling has changed the way of their life the most. The target of the work was chosen in order to reveal the most vulnerable areas in the individual dependencies during their life that affect their lifestyle. The theoretical part of the thesis in the first chapter deals with the theoretical definitions of the concepts of addiction, addictive and impulsive disorders. The second chapter focuses on gambling as such. Furthermore, the theoretical part of the thesis deals with the gambling lifestyle, treatment of pathological gambling and social work with pathological players. Based on the stated objectives of the work has been assigned one research question: How addiction to gambling influences the gambler´s lifestyle? Based on the identified issues was conducted qualitative research methods through in-depth interviews with three communication partners. Through these interviews there were found living areas that have been affected with gambling, consequently gambler´s lifestyle has been affected. These areas were described in detail in the practical part and then methods of bunches were used for mapping into the tables. This research showed that gambling addiction is not without significant negative social impacts and without changing the current lifestyle. This work may lead to an increased awareness of gambling and its social consequences for individuals who meet with the gamblers, so for the public.
Pathological gambling

This bachelor thesis is focused on the problem of pathological gambling as a socio- pathological phenomenon. The aim of this work is to gather and sum up information about pathological gambling. First chapter of this work is devoted to the characteristics of pathological gambling as a socio-pathological phenomenon. This chapter also deals with types of socio-pathological phenomena and the causal theory. Next chapter focuses on the definition of pathological gambling, types of games and causes of pathological gambling. Third chapter describes the impact of pathological gambling to the gambler's family and the gambler itself. Gambler typology and phases of pathological gambling are also mentioned. Methods and types of prevention, as well as high-risk groups, are described in fourth chapter. Fifth chapter deals with pathological gambling treatment, including brief description of each treatment method. To supplement the gathered information, interviews with former pathological gambler and dr. Karel Nešpor, addiction treatment specialist, are included in this work. Regulation of socio-pathological phenomena in the region

The main topic of the thesis are gaming machines that pose the greatest risk for pathological gambling in the municipality Liberec. The theoretical part describes sociopathological phenomena, gambling history, the impact of gambling on society and what opinions have people and municipality to gamble. In the practical part of the research analyzed several perspectives on gambling, among the public and among representatives of the municipality Liberec and other actors. The thesis analyzes the issue on the basis of questionnaires and individual interviews. Results at the end evaluates how the issue is perceived by the general public and other actors.

Thesis concentrates on the problem of gambling on the second grade of the basic school. Thesis consists of two parts " theoretical and practical. The theoretical part is target on characterising of the term dependency and characterise causes and conditions of the dependency inception. Thereinafter the thesis target on the diagnostic of dependencies for basic school teachers and their managing of problems with the dependency. The thesis tries to find out possibilities and efficiency of the prevention on the basic school. In more details focus this thesis on the problem of gambling, its murmurs, causations and possibilities of detoxification. At the close of this thesis is situated the actual state evaluation of gambling in the Czech Republic. The practical part attend to actual state of gambling on the second grade of basic schools. The main part theoretical parts concentrates on questionnaire evaluation, shows differences between big town, small town and a village. This practical part contains also statistical calculations.
The psychological aspects of pubescence

Psychological aspects are various during the adolescence. Adolescents and their behaviour are influenced by many factors. This thesis is aimed at chicane problems, truancy and all sorts of addiction. These asocial and often also antisocial psychological effects inhibit children and adolescents from adequate developing. The surroundings, where the children and adolescents are growing up, is disturbed. Because there are more children with problems mentioned above, I would like to focus on prevention. During the interviews with teachers at primary and secondary schools, I would like to find out, if there are any prevention activities at their schools.
